Detour on Nicosia Routes due to the parade on 28/10/2026

ANNOUNCEMENT Due to the Parade of 28th of October, on Wednesday 28/10/2026, some roads in the centre of Nicosia will be closed from 09:00 to 13:00. Routes 1, 2, 3, 4,11, 12, Χ13, 19, 26, 28, 31, 32, 33 and 41 will be affected. Routes 1 & 2: To Solomos Square: The route will follow its direction normally until Griva Digeni Ave., then Prodromou, Chilonos, Metochiou, Kinyras and through Paphos Gate will terminate at Solomos Square, as shown with blue on the map below. From Solomos Square: The route, when it will start from Solomos Square, will follow Paphos Gate, Nechrou, Kiniras, Metochiou, Chilonos, Prodromou, Griva Digeni, and continue the route normally, as shown with blue on the map below. Routes 3, 4, 28, 33: The route from the traffic lights of Makarios Ave., will proceed right to Griva Digeni, left to Larnakos, right to Salaminos and will terminate at the Palouriotissas Lyceum, as shown with blue on the map below. The route will start from Palouriotissas Lyceum, will head towards Salaminos traffic lights, then left to Larnakos, right to Griva Digeni and left to Makarios Ave. to continue its normal journey, as shown with blue on the map below. *The Route 33 will pass normally from Kallipoleos on the return from Palouriotissa Lyceum. Routes 11 & 12: To Solomos Square: The route will terminate at Solomos Square through Pafos Gate and Kinyras street, as shown with blue on the map below for Route 11 and with green for Route 12. From Solomos Square: The route, when it will start from Solomos Square, will follow Paphos Gate, Mouseiou, Nechrou, Kiniras and continue its normal journey, as shown with blue on the map below for Route 11 and with green for Route 12. Routes Χ13 & 19: To Solomos Square: The route will terminate at Solomos Square through Metochiou, Kiniras and Paphos Gate, as shown with blue line on the map below. From Solomos Square: The route, when it will start from Solomos Square, will follow Paphos Gate, Mouseiou, Nechrou, Kiniras, Metochiou and continue its normal journey, as shown with blue on the map below. Route 26: To Solomos Square: The route will follow its direction normally until Griva Digeni traffic lights that will proceed right, then left to Larnakos and right to Salaminos to terminate at Palouriotissas Lyceum, as shown with blue on the map below. The route will start from Palouriotissas Lyceum, will head towards Salaminos traffic lights, then left to Larnakos, right to Griva Digeni and from Digeni Akrita traffic lights left to Nikis to continue its normal journey, as shown with blue on the map below. Route 31: The route, from both directions, will follow its normal journey but will start and terminate at the "OXI" roundabout, as shown with blue on the map below. Route 32: To Solomos Square: The route will follow Evgenias & Theodotou, Digeni Akrita, Prodromou, Chilonos, Metochiou, Kiniras and through Paphos Gate will terminate at Solomos Square, as shown with blue on the map below. From Solomos Square: The route, when it will start from Solomos Square, will follow Paphos Gate, Mouseiou, Nechrou, Kiniras, Metochiou, Chilonos, Prodromou, Digeni Akrita, Larnakos and continue its normal journey, as shown with blue on the map below. Route 41: From Makario Stadium Station: The route will follow its normal journey until Metochiou and then it will continue to Prodromou, Griva Digeni, Digeni Akrita, Larnakos and continue normally, as shown with blue on the map below. From Makario Stadium Station: The route will follow its normal journey until Salaminos and then it will continue to Evgenias & Theodotou, Digeni Akrita, Spyrou Kyprianou, Griva Digeni, Prodromou and continue normally, as shown with blue on the map below.
