Discounts and free travel

Free travel — Children under 6, soldiers, low-income pensioners with the ministry card, families receiving public assistance, wheelchair users, blind people and their escorts, and European Disability Card holders. A personalised Motion card is required; free passes are renewed every year.
50% discount — University students (student ID or European Youth Card), young people aged 6–18, school pupils and social card holders pay half fare with a personalised Motion card.

Buying tickets and notes

Where to buy — The driver sells only one-way, rural one-way and night tickets, cash only. Cards and passes are sold at CPT sales offices; cards can be topped up online through JCC Smart / the Motion app.
Season passes — Season passes must be activated within 6 months of purchase. Folding bicycles travel free; a bicycle ticket costs €2.70 (night €4.70).
Larnaca Airport — CPT does not publish a separate airport fare. Check the route of your bus before you travel.
