L1: Detour via Archbishop Makarios II Avenue until 4 July

From 4 June, L1 takes a detour around roadworks on Konstantinou Paleologou Street and the "OXI" Roundabout. The bus now goes via Archbishop Makarios II Avenue, Stasinou Street, and Doros Loizou Bridge before returning to its normal route. This lasts until 4 July at the earliest.

What changes

New route

The bus heads towards Konstantinou Paleologou Street, then continues to Archbishop Makarios II Avenue, Stasinou Street, Doros Loizou Bridge, turns at the "OXI" Roundabout, and follows its normal route to Konstantinou Paleologou Street.

Why

Roadworks close a section of Konstantinou Paleologou Street and part of the "OXI" Roundabout.

ANNOUNCEMENT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From the 4th of June 2026 until further notice, a section of Konstantinou Paleologou Street, as well as part of the “OXI” Roundabout, will remain closed due to roadworks. Route L1 will be affected and will follow the diversion shown with blue line on the map below. The bus will head towards Konstantinou Paleologou street, continue to Archbishop Makarios II Avenue, Stasinou Street, Doros Loizou Bridge, turn at the “OXI” Roundabout, and then follow its normal route to Konstantinou Paleologou Street.
