Routes 48 and X200: new section of Dimitris Christofias Avenue from 20 July

From 20 July to 19 August, routes 48 and X200 use a new section of Dimitris Christofias Avenue near GSP Stadium. Towards the University of Cyprus, the bus goes straight through the roundabout from Ippokratous Street onto Dimitris Christofias Avenue, then resumes normal route at the GSP roundabout. The same applies in the opposite direction.

  • At the GSP roundabout, resume normal route

ANNOUNCEMENT From Monday, 20 July 2026, Routes 48 and X200 will operate via the new section of Dimitris Christofias Avenue near the GSP Stadium. Towards the University of Cyprus, the route will continue straight through the roundabout from Ippokratous Street onto Dimitris Christofias Avenue and at the GSP roundabout, it will resume its normal route. The same diversion will apply in the opposite direction. The route will operate normally up to Tseriou Avenue from where it will continue straight from the roundabout and will continue straight until the next one and then head right to Dimitris Christofias Street. From there, it will continue straight towards GSP stadium and will continue its normal route.
