Discounts and free travel

Free travel — Children under 6, soldiers, low-income pensioners with the ministry card, families receiving public assistance, wheelchair users, blind people and their escorts, and European Disability Card holders. A personalised Motion card is required; free passes are renewed every year.
50% discount — University students (student ID or European Youth Card), young people aged 6–18, school pupils and social card holders pay half fare with a personalised Motion card.
Children — Children up to 12 (under 1.2 m) need no proof of age; ages 13–18 show an ID or student card.

Bicycle — A bicycle costs €1.50 by day and €2.00 at night.
Where to buy — On the bus: cash only, notes up to €20, no bank cards — single, bicycle and 1/5/7/30-day tickets. Plastic Motion cards only at the two OSEA offices in Paralimni.
