How do city buses work in St. Pölten?

The St. Pölten city bus is called LUP and its lines are numbered 1 to 13. Lines 1 to 9 are the backbone. On weekdays they run every 30 minutes, from about 04:30 until about 22:00. On Saturdays they start about an hour later and also run until about 22:00. On Sundays they run between about 07:00 and 20:30, with fewer departures.

Lines 10 to 13 are thinner: lines 11, 12 and 13 run on weekdays only, and line 10 does not run on Sundays. St. Pölten Hauptbahnhof is the hub, served by 16 of the 19 lines in our data. The three-digit numbers (103, 105, 475, 490, 491 and 687) are regional lines with far fewer departures.

All lines are in the St. Pölten timetables. Coming from the capital? The fastest train in our data takes 28 minutes; see Vienna to St. Pölten.

Which bus lines run in Krems?

All nine lines in our Krems data start at Krems Bahnhof, and the rides are short, between 5 and 20 minutes. Lines 1 to 4 run every 30 minutes on weekdays, from 04:50 until about 19:00; lines 5, 6 and 7 run about once an hour. Line 1 goes to Stein-Mautern Bahnhof, line 2 to Bründlgraben/EKZ, line 3 to voestalpine, line 4 to Rehberg and line 5 to Gneixendorf.

Weekends need planning. On Saturdays lines 1 to 3 run until about 19:00, but lines 4 to 7 stop around 12:30 to 13:00. On Sundays none of the lines 1 to 7 run in our data. The exception is line 717 between the station and the Campus stop (Dr.-Karl-Dorrek-Straße), which runs about hourly every day from 06:50 to 19:00. See the Krems timetables.

Which bus lines run in Wiener Neustadt?

In Wiener Neustadt all 13 bus lines in our data call at Wiener Neustadt Hauptbahnhof. Lines 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 run every 30 minutes on weekdays. The lines with a letter, 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 5A and 5B, run about once an hour and go out to neighbouring places: Zillingdorf Bergwerk (1A, 1B), Wöllersdorf (2A), Weikersdorf (2B) and Wiesen-Sigleß (5A, 5B). Line 8 reaches Lichtenwörth and line 10 Lanzenkirchen.

Most lines run from about 05:00 to 19:30 on weekdays; lines 7 and 8 have later departures, the last at 22:16 and 20:55. On Saturdays service ends between about 18:00 and 19:00 on most lines. There is no Sunday bus service in our data. The fastest train from Vienna takes 31 minutes; see Vienna to Wiener Neustadt and the Wiener Neustadt timetables.

Which bus lines run in Baden?

Baden has five lines in our data, all starting at Baden Bahnhof. The city lines A, B, C and D run every 30 minutes on weekdays, from about 06:00 to 18:30. On Saturdays they run in the morning only, until about 12:30, and they do not run on Sundays.

Line 308 between Baden Bahnhof and Rauhenstein is different: it runs every day, on weekdays from 04:37 until after midnight. The Badner Bahn to Vienna is listed with the trams in our Vienna timetables. All Baden lines are in the Baden timetables.
