Cranbourne and Pakenham: trains end at South Yarra on 28 October

On Wednesday 28 October from 8.30pm to last service, Cranbourne and Pakenham Line trains stop at South Yarra instead of going into the city. You'll need to change trains to reach the Metro Tunnel or city stations.

  • To reach State Library: take a Frankston Line train to Melbourne Central
  • To reach Town Hall: take a Frankston or Sandringham Line train to Flinders Street
  • To reach other city stations: take a Frankston or Sandringham Line train

From the city or Metro Tunnel

Pakenham & Cranbourne Line trains start from South Yarra.

  • From State Library: go to Melbourne Central, take a Frankston Line train to South Yarra
  • From Town Hall: go to Flinders Street, take a Frankston or Sandringham Line train to South Yarra
  • From other city stations: take a Frankston or Sandringham Line train and change at South Yarra
