T3 Inner West: buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central nightly

From 2–3 November, nightly from 9:20PM to 1:30AM, buses replace T3 trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run between Liverpool and Lidcombe only — change at Lidcombe to continue. Express trains keep running. Trackwork also affects the City Circle.

Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 November, nightly from 9:20PM to 1:30AM.

How trains change

  • Trains run between Liverpool and Lidcombe only
  • Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey
  • Express trains continue to run
  • T1 Western Line trains make extra stops at Flemington, Homebush and Burwood
  • Some T9 Northern Line trains make extra stops at Croydon and Ashfield

City travel

Trains do not run on the City Circle, or between Central and Wynyard. Use T4 Eastern Suburbs Line trains, metro, light rail, local buses or walk.
