Which bus lines run in Wels?
The backbone of the Wels network is lines 1, 2, 3 and 4. On weekdays they run every 15 minutes, from about 05:20 until shortly after 20:00. All four call at Kaiser-Josef-Platz (Busterminal), the main hub in the centre, which is served by 11 lines in our data.
The second hub is the main station, and here a detail matters: buses stop on two sides of it. In our data lines 1, 4, 13 and 14 use the stop Wels Hbf (Neustadt), while lines 2, 3, 15 and 16 use Wels Hbf (Busterminal). Check which one your line serves before you change.
From the station, line 13 runs to the ROLA-Terminal and line 14 to Unterhart, each about once an hour. Line 15 goes to Thalheim bei Wels and line 16 to the Schwimmbad. Lines 5, 6, 8, 9, 11 and E33 run on weekdays only and have just a few departures a day. You can open every line in the Wels timetables.
Do buses run in Wels in the evening and on Sundays?
Yes, but under different line numbers. When the daytime lines finish, two evening loops take over: A1 and A2. Both start and end at Kaiser-Josef-Platz and take a little under an hour for the full round. In our data they leave between about 20:40 and 22:25 on weekdays. On Saturdays the daytime lines stop earlier, between about 18:10 and 18:35, and A1 and A2 start at about 18:40.
On Sundays lines 1 to 4 do not run in our data. Two loop lines replace them, 71 and 72, again from Kaiser-Josef-Platz, with departures between about 08:55 and 17:25. Line 21 runs on Sundays only, between Kaiser-Josef-Platz and Friedhofwirt.
Which bus lines run in Steyr?
Steyr works like a star. All 19 lines in our data start at the bus station next to Steyr Bahnhof, and 18 of them are loops that return to it. For most cross-town trips you ride one bus into the station and another one out.
The busiest lines are 1, 2a, 2b, 3 and 3b, which run every 15 minutes on weekdays, from shortly after 05:00 until about 19:30. Lines 8a, 8b and 10 run every 30 minutes, and lines 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 about once an hour. Pay attention to the letters: 2a and 2b are separate loops with different stops, and the same goes for 3, 3a and 3b and for 8, 8a and 8b. All of them are in the Steyr timetables.
When do the last buses leave in Steyr?
Most Steyr lines finish between about 17:30 and 20:00 on weekdays. After that, lines 20 and 21 cover the evening. They are long loops with about 50 stops each and take almost an hour. On weekdays the last departure in our data is at 21:55 on line 20 and at 22:55 on line 21.
On Saturdays the main lines have about half as many departures and stop around 18:00 to 19:00. On Sundays only lines 1, 2a, 2b, 3, 8, 20 and 21 run in our data, mostly between about 08:30 and 18:00, with lines 20 and 21 continuing until just before 20:00.
