What it is
The markets spread through the parkland along Memorial Drive in the centre of Eumundi, a former timber and dairy town in the hills behind Noosa. Many stallholders make their goods themselves, from furniture and jewellery to soaps and ceramics, and there is a large food area with local produce and live music.
The markets take place on set days each week; on other days the town's main street, with its old timber buildings, galleries and cafés, is much quieter.
Getting there by bus
Routes 630 and 631 between Noosa and Nambour stop at Memorial Dr at Eumundi Markets, right beside the market grounds. Eumundi railway station on the line between Brisbane and Gympie is about 500 metres away.
From Noosa Heads the bus takes around half an hour.
