Palaepaphos (“Old Paphos”) was one of the ancient city-kingdoms of Cyprus and a pilgrimage centre for the worship of Aphrodite. The site is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Paphos.
A medieval Lusignan manor house on the site holds the local museum with finds from the sanctuary.
