What it is

The centre was designed by Grafton Architects, later winners of the Pritzker Prize, and its stepped stone façade won several awards. The 320-seat theatre stages drama, music and film, the galleries show contemporary Irish artists free of charge, and the café is a good stop in a town short of quiet corners.

Getting there by bus

Solstice is on Railway Street, two minutes' walk from Navan's Market Square and the shopping centre. Town buses stop on Brews Hill and around the centre, a few minutes away (Brews Hill stop), and regional coaches to Dublin stop on Kennedy Road nearby.
