What it is

The Storehouse is a former fermentation plant built around a giant glass atrium shaped like a pint glass. The floors cover ingredients, brewing, transport, advertising and the tasting rooms, and the tour ends with a pint in the circular Gravity Bar on top.

It is Ireland's most visited paid attraction, so tickets for a specific time are best booked online, especially at weekends and in summer.

Getting there by bus

The brewery is on James's Street in the Liberties, about 25 minutes' walk west of Trinity College. Buses along James's Street and Thomas Street stop near the entrance, and the Watling Street stop is right beside it; the James's Luas stop on the Red Line is also a short walk away.

Kilmainham Gaol and the Irish Museum of Modern Art are a further 15–20 minutes on foot in the same direction.
